Compensation Chokes

Compensation chokes are an essential part of reactive compensation systems for industrial facilities. They are often used to produce the necessary inductive reactive power for compensating cable or mains capacitance.

Meher Mangoldt compensation chokes are available in single- and three-phase designs for applications in low-voltage and medium-voltage grids up to a system voltage of 36 kV. The long-lived and highly precise chokes make any reactive compensation system a reliable cost saver.
